About the Photographer

Hello! My name is Jenelle and I want to personally thank you for visiting today.  My passion for photography was born at an early age.  It wasn’t until 8 years ago, that I was finally able to pursue my passion and explore the art of photography. Now I am a mother of two beautiful children (who inspired me to follow my desire of capturing candid photos).

I couldn’t be happier to have the ability to share my passion with you. I enjoy photographing almost anything and anyone but I’ve learned that I love capturing the precious moments of children and families. I look forward to helping you capture these special moments you wish to cherish for a lifetime!

I was born and raised in Michigan. I lived in South Carolina 8 years and learned that I love shooting (in natural settings) on location and exploring beautiful scenic areas.  I am now located in North East Illinois and with your help I look forward to exploring the beauty of this midwest state!

My style of photography is candid, relaxed, and encouraged to be interactive. I want you to have fun, and enjoy our time together while I capture raw emotions and natural expressions to document one of a kind moments for you!

I am not a shoot and burn photography. I will be there from the moment you book your session until the final product is hanging on your wall. I fully edit each picture and will make sure I give you the experience of a true photographer. I am always willing to work with my clients to ensure they are happy with their experience and final products.

During our Session:
You can expect a relaxed and fun atmosphere. It’s important to me that you feel at ease and enjoy yourself during our time together. I like to get to know my clients and focus on capturing their true personalities.  Please expect to take breaks with small children  as they sometimes have meltdowns and don’t want to cooperate. That is okay and expected with young children. It is a good idea to bring a favorite snack and/or toy(s) with you to help comfort your child(ren). Sometimes the best shots are of your child being natural and playing with mom, dad or siblings.
